What is the Balfron Heritage Group?
Balfron Heritage Group was founded in 1989 to organise and exhibition of the village’s past to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the building of Ballindalloch Cotton Works in 1790 – an event which transformed this sleepy Stirlingshire hamlet into a bustling village at the heart of the Industrial Revolution.
What does the Balfron Heritage Group do?
We research the history relevant to the village, including the people, buildings, industries and events that have shaped Balfron over the years.
