Our final talk before the winter break is on Thursday 14th November by author Donald Peddie about the Railways fo Strathblane which helped make Balfron a tourist mecca at the start of the 20th Century.

John Dew who composed the “BONNYMUIR” pipe tune for our 2020 Radicals Festival has won the Ceòl Mòr – overall champion piper – trophy this weekend at the Royal National Mòd in Glasgow 2019. Congratulations to him and we look forward to seeing/hearing him on 28th March next year.
