So sorry for my tardiness in putting tonight’s important meeting up on our website but things have been a bit hectic on a number of fronts.
It is particularly unfortunate as this evening AGM has an important matter to discuss regarding the very future of the Heritage Group. The following motion is to be put forward to the members by Jim Thomson:-
“As a current member and founder of BALFRON HERITAGE GROUP it is with deep regret that I propose to the AGM – September 2026 – that, given the numbers and age of those involved in the running of the society and the Constitutional requirements of the Committee, Paragraph 9 of the Constitution (below) should be invoked as of the end of the 2026 – 2027 season i.e. May 2027 and assets disposed of as per the Constitution unless during the current season the problems of both age and numbers can be resolved.”
We are not, therefore, simply looking for personnel but people who can secure the future of the Group for the next five years and beyond.
